Up on the roof!
The library team helped families use a telescope. Ava had seen a small one in a shop for six coins, exactly what she had.
But first, she wanted a look through this one.
She waited with Mum. When her turn came, the library helper showed her where to look.
Darkness. Then a bright shape with a ring.
Saturn!
Up on the roof!
Ava whispered, “Oh.”
Downstairs, Louis found a planet book. Ava drew Saturn on paper. Her coins stayed on her band; her imagination had travelled much farther.
